Christopher Snow

Hi, I’m Christopher Snow!

I’m a software developer with a strong background working with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.

I graduated in Spring 2023, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a 4.0 GPA and summa cum laude honors from Portland State University. I especially enjoyed and excelled at my classes on Machine Learning, which taught me skills I’ve used to build everything from computer vision software to an AI chess program that was (almost) as good at chess as me.

In my free time, I also enjoy composing and recording music and building custom audio effects and filters.

Here’s a few of my projects! Check out my GitHub for more.

This website is running on WordPress, using a custom one-page theme and custom plugins for my Contact Form and Projects.

An AI chess program which uses a variety of board evaluation heuristics, a minimax tree, and alpha-beta pruning to achieve some pretty respectable results.

Pitch Bot 9000

An auto-tune program that can shift the pitch of instruments and vocals to correct their frequency or to produce interesting effects.

Letter Boxed Solver

Solver for the Letter Boxed puzzle by the New York Times.

Climate Data Analysis

A program that analyzes and interprets climate data spanning over 100 years and the entire United States.

I’m currently looking for work, but I’d love to hear from you for any other reason too!
